5th PTNCE Conference
24 – 26 September 2019, Warsaw, Poland
The 2018 Conference of Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies (PTNCE) was held on 24-26 September 2018 in Warsaw.
The conference was co-organised by PTNCE, Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Centre of New Technologies, University of Warsaw and supported by Galton Institute.
The 2018 Conference Organising Committee was headed by Martyna Molak from the Museum and Institute of Zoology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
Sixty nine people altogether participated at the conference including four fantastic plenary speakers and a nine-person organising team. Seven countries were represented. Women to men ratio was 1.56 (61% women and 39% men).
There were 22 regular talks, 17 posters and one great discussion panel on public outreach concerning human evolution.
Plenary lectures were delivered by: Russell Gray, Wolfgang Haak, Jan Havlíček and Grażyna Jasieńska.
